"Although boasted a 4-star, this hotel is very disappointing in almost every aspects. The TV is smaller than my PC monitor. There were 2 sheets left in the napkin box. The shower water is like dripping. The towels looked unclean. There was only one chair and one nightstand in the room. All these are not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. The front desk also refused to refund one-night stay due to the change in airline schedule although we contact them weeks before checking in."

"We drove around for 1/2 hour searching for this hotel, up and down dirt roads in a 4x4. Could not find it. Phoned the hotel, no answer. So we booked another hotel down the highway. Sure hope hotels.com refunds my purchase"

"The 'muchachos' were very helpful and responsive to requests. They speak both English and Spanish. They organised taxis as needed, were very flexible to time of serving meals, and provided advice to seeing the sights. Rooms were clean the the place felt very comfortable and welcoming. The views of Puno and the lake were spectacular and you can walk on the property to see amazing views to the north and east. Wonderful for photography. "The place and staff were exceptional. The only problem I had with it all was it was an extremely cold, cloudy day. After arriving about 2 PM, on a freezing day, and after seeing my jetted tub in the window nook, all I wanted was the promised 24 hour available hot water that was promised.
