"Upon arrival we left our luggage with the porter at the ferry dock. One of our bags was given to the wrong person. They did eventually find the bag but it was a tense few hours. In addition, the air conditioner did not cool our room. The first evening was awful, the following day maintenance came and tried to fix it. It was better but not great. Other than those two mishaps we loved Hvar and the hotel was fine."

"Staying at Hotel Terranea was an absolute pleasure, Nina and her team were excellent. This is a small town based hotel which is a 15 minute walk to the harbour, downhill and quite an uphill walk back in the heat, you could get a readily available cab if you wanted. The pools are small but perfect for cooling off in. We had a great stay, thanks again Hotel Terranea team."

"Wonderful hotel in the heart of old Hvar. It is a five minute walk from the ferry but there are a lot of stairs. If you write ahead they will meet you at the ferry and help with your bags. Our room was gorgeous with a private patio room 202. Breakfast was superb. We will stay here again when we return"

"The location is perfect--peaceful, but a quick 3-4 min walk along the water promenade to the town center square and ferries. The front desk staff was wonderful in giving us advice for our stay. All rooms have balconies facing the bay and a 15th century church. Breakfast is delicious with many options on the terrace, beds and linens are very comfortable. Highly recommended."

"From the moment I arrived at the hotel staff were welcoming and made me feel like I was at home, before I had even checked in the concierge asked my name and took my luggage up to my room while I completed my check in. Every day the wonderful staff asked how my day was and if I was enjoying my time on Hvar and were interested in having a conversation rather than just asking a question as most hotel staff will do as they are expected to this was very different they cared about the guests that are staying at the Riva Marina hotel. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Hvar."

"This property is true luxury from the private location to how staff accommodates you as a guest. I was not ready to leave. They do not miss a beat from midweek cookies being sent to the room to special touches as we celebrated our anniversary. I will definitely be back. Thank you so everyone especially Batu from the front desk and Camel our waiter during dinner service."

"Great hotel! Facilities were great, pool bar staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of sunbeds & a nice pool. Rooms were great, so was the breakfast & the bar had a relaxed atmosphere. It's in a perfect location with sea views but just a short walk into the town."
