My daughter and I felt safe here. The beds didn't look all that comfortable, but they were. We slept so well. I loved the character of the hotel. All the people who worked at the hotel that we came in contact with, were really nice and friendly.

Excellent location in a very walkable area. Plenty of shopping and dining everywhere. Public transportation on retro streetcars nearby. The hotel staff is very nice and the room is cleaned every day. There is dining downstairs. This hotel is an excellent choice and very affordable.

Old but enjoyable

This is a C19 hotel which has seen limited updates in recent decades. The quirks of creaky floorboards and erratic air conditioning should not put you off staying in this splendid location.

Don't

3rd floor, but still an evil smell from the sink. Room service only sporatically executed. Rooms look overall very aged, with rust and dirty spots on the walls. Staff speaks little English, does not have any information brochures or recommendations for exploring the city. The location is great, the building has a certain charme of old times, and there are some parking spots in front. But it is also not very quiet. You hear the tram passing very clearly.

When arrived the non-english speaker of the reception told us that he could not find our reservations for 5 nights and 2 rooms and they were fully booked. He literally told us we would be homeless in Romania and didn't care. Hotels.com also ignored our pleas and we ended up having to cancel our trip.

Triste vestige d'une époque. Sans aucun doute le plus mauvais choix d'hôtel de toute la ville de Iasi si j'en crois les commentaires de mes collègues congressistes dans d'autres établissement.

Cheap in the worst meaning of this word

The worst stay Ive ever had. Do not choose this place even for 1 night stay. It is always very noisy in your room because you hear everything from the corridors and from other rooms!! Also take in consideration that theres no HOT WATER (which i thought is impossible), and broken shower :) . The ONLY positive thing is location and thats it! Dont waste your money(even though its cheap)for this hotel go book something better,believe me its the worst

Ce qu'il nous fallait

Hôtel très centré, propre, personnel serviable. Un bureau de change ouvert non-stop se trouve dans le hall d'entrée, le bar sur la droite. Nous avons eu droit à une chambre spacieuse avec un hall d'entrée, on se serait cru dans un appartement. WC séparés de la salle de bain. Eau chaude et chauffage, pièces réchauffées. Serviettes propres et savons fournis. Seul bémol : lignes de tram en bas du bâtiment, bruit des trams et des vibrations aux heures de fonctionnement, pas gênant si nous y sommes habitués (d'autres chambres donnent vers la cour intérieure); de plus, les gens semblent fumer dans les chambres, la fumée sentait très fort chez nous, pas très agréable pour notre bébé. Séjour d'une nuit, ça nous allait dans l'ensemble.

The room and the bathroom were very dirty. The bathroom hasnt even a soap to wash the hands. I paid for breakfast and i took only a glass of milk and an omelette. When i asked for more they answered thats all you can have. i DONT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL

Excellent stay

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. The service was excellent, large bathroom, updated furniture. Very customer friendly and non-stop currency exchange in the lobby. Great wi-fi service and breakfast available for a small fee.

立地よしのレトロホテル

古都ヤシの中心地というロケーションです。そもそも非常にコンパクトな街ですが、そのど真ん中に位置しているため、文化宮殿はもちろんあちこち林立する個性豊かな教会群などを巡るにも、古い家並みを楽しむにも絶好のロケーションです。このエリアでは建物がレトロな分だけ価格も良心的。残念ながら全室喫煙可ではありますが、石造りのためかさほど残り香は感じませんでした。年季の入ったエレベーターは使いこなすのに少々時間がかかります（扉を完全に手動で閉めないと動かない）。宿の至近を行き交う路面電車の音が気になる人もいるかもしれませんが、レトロな乗り物大好きな自分にはそれもまた愉快でした。大きな浴槽はあるものの、シャワーを浴びようとするとお湯は浴槽の外にも飛び散って水浸し。これはやや残念。しかしながら概ね快適です。
