Amazing property and the kindest caretakers

It was very confusing to find this gem as google maps led us astray a couple of times. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the most wonderful caretakers who were so kind and friendly that all the jet lag melted away. Not only is this accommodation amazing and very cool but Ingrid and her husband are brilliant. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Little paradise just at the foot of Monsanto mountain. Orange and tangerine right in fromt of your door and and authentic roman fountain. Just wow!

An oasis located at the bottom of Monsanto. Beautiful gardens, next to local hiking trails. Some of which lead to the town of Monsanto. Accommodations are unique and super comfortable. Hosts are friendly and accomidating. A true experience.

Wonderful stay! Ingrid is the housekeeper on property and she is amazing! She speaks Portuguese, English, German and Dutch and her hospitality is top notch. Very engaging, pays attention to detail. Makes a great breakfast and helped us with restaurant options for dinner. Made suggestions for our itinerary. The grounds are amazing. Not just a place to stay the night, but to relax and enjoy. Natural spring water on grounds, orange and fig trees... Ancient roman road and hiking trails on the property.

Kind of hard to find the hotel as it is hidden by a small road. The GPS said we were there but didn't see the road heading to hotel. Ingrid was very nice and hospitable. Good breakfast. Had a hard time meeting up at first so it caused us some troubles as we didn't want to go out at night but had too.
