We loved the location of this hotel and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and kind. The breakfast was delicious as well. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay in a charming old town.

This property is conveniently located inside the scenic pedestrian zone of Idstein, but is accessible by taxi. It is a typical small European hotel, which means the rooms are small but clean with modern amenities, a tiny elevator, and a reception that is only sporadically staffed. A nice breakfast is available by advance booking. Our biggest complaint was the strong smell of tobacco smoke that permeated the halls during the day, but luckily disappeared by check-in time and did not enter our room.

The hotel is located in the middle of the Idstein Old Town, so convenient for touring. Receptionist was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Our room was basic (no fridge or microwave, no shampoo or lotion) but certainly adequate, clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was served for a fee.

Das Hotel Lamm liegt perfekt im Zentrum von Idstein. Leider ist das Haus in die Jahre gekommen und die Einrichtung bunt zusammen gewürfelt. Das Frühstück ist ok, für den, der kalte Rühreier und nicht so frische Semmeln mag. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und für eine Nacht erfüllt es den Zweck auf jeden Fall.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Lage befindest sich mitten in der kleinen Altstadt Idsteins.
Unkompliziertes einchecken und auschecken.
Frühstück war reichhaltig und preislich in Ordnung.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Schräge, an einigen Stellen war es ziemlich schwierig mit dem stehen, ebenfalls das Bad . Am Fensterrahmen ist schon etwas Schimmelbefall, ebenfalls gibt es hier nicht die Möglichkeit eines sichtschutzes, benachtbarte Wohnungen können in das Badezimmer einsehen.
Insgesamt war der Preis von 166€ für DZ mit Frühstück nicht ganz gerechtfertigt, da habe ich schon um einiges besseres gehabt.
