"We stayed for 3 nights at Avoncourt Lodge, we were down from Kent for a wedding at Tunnels Beaches and this B&B is perfectly located just a 5 minute walk from the venue. The room was spacious and well equipped, very clean and had an amazing balcony with a view across Ilfracombe. Breakfast was really tasty, as was the coffee and selection of jams, cereals etc. Special mention to Lorraine who made sure we were looked after, always wanting to help and made the stay that bit more special. Would definitely recommend and come back in the future, Thank you"

Was perfectly located in centre of town, close to Tunnels Beaches (wedding venue).
Never felt rushed to check out, and host was kind enough to provide a slightly earlier check-in.

"The hotel was well located. And the lady who runs it was fantastic, a lovely friendly character. Breakfast were incredible and large. The hotel itself clearly is busy and is overdue a good bit of TLC. The rooms are showing age and needed deep cleaning. The room wasn't the biggest, we did struggle with luggage in the room. We did sleep well. I found it l perfect for what we needed"

Meals all good , adequate choices and very helpful staff. Parking on site appreciated but spaces rather small for larger cars.
