Though Bird Creek might not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Indian Valley Mine National Historic Site and Penguin Valley Trailhead.

Couple of good restaurants nearby and easy access to Kenai peninsula. Plenty of photo, fishing, and hiking spots nearby.
Just a small area outside of Anchoridge... a convenient store and this motel...
Its a unique place
Comfy beds, needs signs, toilet could be leaking.
It's a wayside bar with a wayside bar & liquor store next door. The room would be great for someone too drunk to drive, although overpriced. The scenery is great, but then so is all of Alaska.
