“Excellent reception experience. The young lady was so very helpful and caring. I am 75 and she was so patient. The only downside is £1.90 for soda water. Most pubs charge 0 or a nominal amount. This is a hotel and there was the service of the water but the profit margin must be enormous and I admit to feeling exploited. However room was very nice as was WiFi. I would recommend and stay again”
“I had a really pleasant stay at The Ship. The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits—such a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since I’d slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials.
