โIt's a very cute old building. The owner, Jeff, was very kind, helpful, and flexible. It was close to everything in town. The room was beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again when in Haines.โ
โThis beautiful, classic hotel is right in the hear of Skagway, allowing for easy access to all of the nearby local restaurants and tourist attractions. We had a small problem with our bathroom, which the staff quickly attended to. If you want breakfast buffet (a separate expense) make sure to show up early as they pick up pretty quickly.โ
โWe stayed one night at Eagle Bay Inn and we were picked up at the airport by Laila and Kyle. Such nice people. They helped us with our questions. The next day we met Vicky (I think that is her name, the owner) was a hoot. Don't mess with Vicky, she tells it like it is and was just enjoyed visiting with her. Such a delight to have a truely compassinate person. Thank you Vicky, Laila and Kyle, y'all are the best! โ
โThis was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partnerโs birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! Facility could use an update, but it was absolutely fine for us especially with the spacious...
โChelsea was so responsive and accommodating as well as sweet and happy!! This place is just out of the way enough to be quiet but close enough to easily walk to most places. I would highly recommend it and will absolutely book again!โ
โThe diner was absolutely perfect. The town does shut down pretty early, so getting a later dinner is not really very easy. The diner stays open until 8pm. The food is really good, and the staff is even better. We ate breakfast there every day of our trip and even had dinner there twice. โ
โGlacier Bay Lodge is several miles outside of the small town of Gustavus, but the destination of choice for travelers to the area, providing an optimal staging place for trips out to the glacier. We hiked the coast on the forest trails running north and south from the lodge. Both trails are extremely well maintained and gorgeous the whole way through. The staff was more than happy to ensure we knew all of the risks in the area and allow us to borrow bear spray just in case things went sideways....
โConvenient downtown location that allows for easy access to the capitol. Wide spacious room with plenty of space to stretch out. Breakfast is not included, but there is an attached restaurant with plenty of options. Overall, a great location to stay while exploring the downtown Juneau area.โ
โNice location from the ferry terminal to the airport but bus is needed from downtown. Local grocery is next to the hotel.
Room is clean and enough spacious. Kitchen is convenient but no kitchenware for cooking.โ
โThe staff was amazingly accommodating and helpful. The location was ideal. We could walk to anything in town. Although the property was older, they worked hard to keep it up. โ
โStaff were very friendly and rooms/bathrooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Location was convenient to the airport. Not a big deal, but trading out dirty towels for clean towels was a little inconvenient, especially if I didnโt remember to do it before leaving for the day and getting back late. โ
