"We really liked our stay here. The room was spacious and clean. We had a room overlooking the water with a balcony. Very peaceful and pretty. Lots of open space on the grounds. It is located a bit outside of Baddeck so you have to walk along the road to get into town if you don’t want to drive. There is a restaurant on site. We would stay here again."

"I informed a front desk staff member that there was no soap in the men's washroom next to the eating area. He should have said thank you and checked the soap dispenser, but instead, he walked me to the washroom and asked me to prove that it was empty. I couldn't believe it! On the positive side, this lodge offers a buffet breakfast with bacon, which I rarely see at most hotels."
