“An amazing location in a restored Georgian country manor. As you pull up to the main door, it may occur to you that the entire staff should be lined up to greet you in Downton Abbey style. That's how perfect it is! The staff is excellent. The only flaw was that our room's smoke detector had a hideous blue light that was way too bright at night. There was no way to get the room dark.”

“We enjoyed a really lovely short break in Sligo recently with the excellent Castle Dargan as a base. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Everyone greeted us warmly and were attentive without being intrusive. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bedding and large bathroom, although the toilet bowl was situated very tight to a wall. We enjoyed a tasty lunch overlooking the scenic golf course. Breakfast offered a good choice and again was top class. We will definitely...
