Highly recommended. The house's owner: Hiro-san was super friendly, welcoming and amazing guy! During our check-in, he found out it was our very 1st time visiting Ishigaki island so he gave us a very detailed guide & recommendations including: sunrise/sunset time, precautions for the ocean, island geography, etc. Best condensed 15-mins Ishigaki guide from a person living there that beats everything you could find online!

バス停から近く、近くに食事ができるところやお弁当の売ってる商店もあります。それらも含め、チェックイン時に詳しく周辺の案内をしてくださり、何かあっても親切に対応してくれます。設備も一通りそろっていて、困る事は無いと思います。ただ、「いびき、寝言、はぎしり」のひどい方はお断りのようですので要注意です。それにしても、何より、白保の珊瑚礁に最も近いのがポイントです。

a relaxing accommodation in a coastal village

The accommodation situtation close to the bus stop and the beach. There's a little farm in front of it, I like to see the goats and pig "pigumi"! Very quiet and relaxing environment is perfect for escape from noisy city life! There's a great BBQ place and roof top to enjoy the starry night (if there's clear sky)!

旅人が集まるステキな場所

台風による足止めで、急遽泊まるところを探さないといけなかったために利用。狭い部屋に2段ベッド2つで計4名のシェアルームに一泊しました。他の旅行者との交流もあり、共同生活ができるので思わぬ出会いもあります。初めて出会う人たちと色々話せてとても楽しく過ごせました。今度は少し長く滞在してみたいです。 外にブタちゃんいたのが可愛かった！

空港から近い泊まれるところを探しこちらに泊まりました。 みなさんフレンドリーで親切。 ただ朝、空港に向かう時に誰もいなくて すっかり渡してもらっていた部屋の鍵を返し忘れて 空港に着いてしまいました。 空港にある届けてくれるとこにお願いし、500円かかりました。 最後、鍵の返し忘れに注意！

お宿に着いた時からとてもフレンドリーな空気いっぱいのお宿で、１人旅でしたが楽しい旅の思い出ができました。 お宿から海がすぐで、朝は日の出を、夜は星空を見に行きました。天の川見える星空はお宿の３階からもよく見えて、みんなで寝転がって見たのも素敵な思い出です。 何よりありがたかったのは、スタッフの方が旅の行程を毎日相談に乗ってくださったこと。限られた時間の中で、離島を満喫できるように、行き方や時間配分まで相談に乗ってくださったおかげで、大満足の旅ができました。 楽しい旅と、楽しい素敵な人との出会いがあるお宿です。また石垣島に行くなら絶対ここに泊まりたいと思います^ ^

ビーチと空港に近いリーズナブルなゲストハウス

部屋は４人部屋の女性部屋。満室だったので部屋が狭かった。スーツケースを開けるのも 容易ではなかった。下のベッドで冷房があまり効かなくて暑かった。 集落にはおにぎり、お弁当など安く売っているお店があり利用した。ビーチは砂浜では なくサンゴのかけらや石ころが多くて泳ぐのには適していない。

1人旅初心者に最高の宿

初めての1人旅、初めてのゲストハウスで不安いっぱいでしたが、オーナーさんがすぐに名前で呼んでくれたり滞在中の日程を私がやりたい事を取り入れ天候や時間などを考慮しながら詳しく考えてくれました(*'.'*)頭の悪い私が理解できず苦戦しましたが、呆れることなく2時間ほど紙に書きながら説明してくれました！他の離島のオススメの宿も教えてくれたのですが全部ハズレなしでした！BBQも美味しかったです！

とても良い

5泊しました。料金は安いですが必要なものはみなそろっています。石垣空港に近いホテルです。離島ターミナルからは離れているので、5日間乗り放題のバスチケット、2000円を使って移動しました。石垣本島もそのバスチケットを使って移動しました。ホテル周辺も沖縄らしさが残っていてよかったです。

冬にいきましたが、南国気分を味わえました。 周りにも商店などがあり不便もなく、格安で地元の食材を堪能できました 店のかたも親切であっという間の滞在期間を過ごすことができ、よかったです

ありえないゲストハウス

４人部屋に泊まったが、部屋内で着替えることが困難なほどに狭いうえ宿泊者は６０〜７０くらいの仕事を引退した年配の人ばかりで数ヶ月間の長期滞在をしているらしいのだが、夜中になると、ある人はイビキがうるさく、ある人は夜通しラジオをかけていて、うるさすぎて眠れなかった。 　 しまいには、あろうことか、イビキをこちらのせいにされて出て行って欲しいと言われる始末で、本当にありえない最悪なゲストハウスだった。　 念のため寝ている間は録音をしていて証拠があったので、幸い出て行かないで済んだが、一時は警察を呼ぼうとまで考えた。　 ちなみに売りにしているゲストハウス主催のツアーも楽しみにはしていたが、実際は５泊の滞在中には一切開催されることはなかった。 二度と泊まりに行きたくはない。

素敵な人たちを引き寄せるゲストハウス

初めてのゲストハウスでした。２週間滞在しました。 とても居心地がよく、いつまでも滞在したいと感じました。 自分が滞在していたときの他のゲストは面白く、良い人達ばかりで、おしゃべりが楽しかったです。 でも一人で海を眺めたいときは皆そっとしてくれます。 宿泊料金が安いです。しかし、ゲストの方々は宿泊料の安さが目的というより、この白保フレンドハウスそのものが気に入ってリピートで来ていると感じました。 オーナーの人望が人を引き寄せ、人と人をつなげていると感じました。だからからか、思いやりのあるマナーの良いゲストばかりでした。 オーナーがとにかく魅力的で良い人です。ガイドブックには載っていない、でも、素晴らしい場所を「その日の天気」や「ゲストの気分」を汲み取って教えてくれます。 １日のベストなスケジュールを立ててくれます。 夜はとても静かで、星空がきれいで、ビーチが近く、遅くまで営業している居酒屋もあります。 設備ですが、ゲストが少しでも快適に過ごせるよう、創意工夫をし続けているだろうなと感じました。例えばシャワーですが、お湯の温度や水圧まで計算されてるんじゃないかと感じました。夜中にシャワーを浴びても温度調整せずに適温のお湯が出てくるし、寝てる人を起こさない絶妙な水圧でお湯が出るのです。 センサーで自動でライトが付く光量も、他のゲストに迷惑にならない絶妙なバランスが保たれています。これらはオーナーに「計算」なのか「偶然」なのか確認してないので分かりませんが、少なくとも自分は「快適だし他人に迷惑になりにくい」と感じました。 ２週間滞在した結果、心が癒され、すっかり元気になった気がします。

良かったです

施設はよく管理されており、古いですがきれいです。スタッフは親切で、その日の天候により最適な観光ルートを提案してくれました。また、自分では見つけきれないお店にも行くことができ、とても良かったです。こちらでレンタカーを借りましたが、燃費が悪かったのだけが残念でした。
