Amazing experience, price was great. Staff was incredible. My fiancé and I loved the view from the room. And we enjoyed the day with Mostaza, the lobby dog. They provided all the tour options for a great price directly from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the service was great every time. Also the view from the rooftop was incredible, drinks were great and it was a perfect spot to rest. We will definitely be returning

This hotel feels like a rustic resort! It was clean and the reception staff were helpful and nice. I booked the tours they recommended and had a great time! Casa Astral is located on the quieter side of the island. It’s a bit of a walk to the “centro” but no more than 12-15 minutes to get there. The hotel isn’t directly by the water, but it is a quick 2 minute walk. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to be back.

The hotel is beautiful and layout is well designed. I wouldn't recommend for families with kids under 4/5 because of stairs and the way balconies are designed. The kitchen was only stocked with pots and pans (no towels or salt/pepper). The restaurants nearby are worth several visits. The beach is probably one of the cleanest and super convenient. There's a great little food and drink spot on the next property over. Overall great spot but I think the service was too bare bones.

We were pleased with our stay at Casa Astral. A lovely hotel. The staff was welcoming, very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a deluxe room which was clean and comfortable with a small balcony. Enjoyed excellent breakfasts at the hotel every morning. The location a short walk from town and Playa Punta Cocos and there was a wonderful restaurant,Cafe Del Mar (ceviche and octopus were outstanding) on the beach right in front. We would love to go back.

Very nice place to stay. Room was exactly as pictured and comfortable, outdoor seating was bigger than expected. Staff was helpful and friendly. Convenient set up. Breakfast included was a nice perk! And it's a quick walk to the Holbox Refugio to get your dog-fix and walk dogs while on vacation! Would definitely stay here again!

A 10/10 experience for us. The rooftop pool & bar is very cool with ocean view. I highly recomend getting a Michelada with Maracuja from Enrqiue, who is a super service oriented guy who will make sure your experience is a 10/10. Also the beach in front of the hotel is nice because it‘s not very crowded.

The staff was extremely accommodating from the start. While it was initially difficult to get a hold of them, they did follow up to confirm our arrival time and even held our reservation when we missed our flight — which we really appreciated. The room itself was small but comfortable, with a fully functioning and quiet AC. The only noticeable downside was the pillows — they were quite thin. We requested extras, but unfortunately, since the hotel was fully booked, none were available. Our favorite part was the rooftop pool and bar. The views, especially at sunset, were absolutely beautiful. A special shoutout to Mario — he was incredibly kind, helpful, and fun to talk to. He gave us great recommendations and truly elevated our experience. Also, thank you to the cleaning staff — they were amazing! Would love to return soon. Highly recommend this stay!

Not a luxury property, the apartment/room is well kitted out and great for families. Within 10 min walking distance to center of Holbox, second row from sea (not water front). Safe was not working, one door handle broken (none of these were surprises for management, so long standing issues), an unwelcoming smell of sewage was welcoming us in the lobby at different times but every day of our stay.

This cool hotel is less than 1/2 block from a beach, a short walk to beaches that are nicer to hang out. The room was very clean and had good AC. Bed was comfortable, pillows less than luxurious. Due to rain we spent time at the hotel as some of our planned activities weren't possible. The restaurant and rooftop bar has excellent service and tasty, nicely presented food. Special acknowledgement to chef and to Ismael for making our stay special, and to the manager for great communication!!
