“I walked into the shower door because I thought it was open, it was spotless. The room had a king size bed, quirky furnishing, like a silver monkey holding up the table top. Lots of interesting objects on the landing. We had the de luxe room with a fridge. The pub itself looked smart but we didn't eat there. The outside looks a bit shabby so inside was quite a surprise.”
“Lovely stay at the Woodlands. The owner and his wife couldn't be nicer people. It's a nice change from the homogenised and impersonal experience you normally find at the typical chain hotels.
The setting of the place was so nice aswell. Lovely trees, beautiful countryside and the nice older buildings... it made it feel unique.
Breakfast was excellent and the whole vibe of the place was relaxed. I would stay here again! ”
