โHotel itself was excellent. Problem was hotels.com which said that that hotel was wheelchair accessible, but was not clear that the rooms which we booked were not accessible. Despite booking several weeks in advance the hotel was only advised of special requirement (wheelchair access) on the day of our visit, by which time all wheelchair accessible rooms had been taken.โ
โGreat stay really quiet in the middle of nowhere which for us was great. Nature was all around us (rabbits everywhere) the only down side was the WiFi yes they are on copper cables but maybe they could do with a WiFi extender as we couldnโt get WiFi in our room but that does not detract from what a great place it was. โ
โThe 2 day trip was a birthday present for my partner. She was delighted with the room, the modern shower facilities, the friendly, helpful staff, the excellent food (both evening meal and breakfast) and the location (just 5 minutes walk from the magnificent cathedral). โ
โExcellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge.
Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes.
Would stay again without hesitation.โ
โRoom was absolutely fine for one. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Fish and chips was very nice. Breakfast was great - probably too big! Iโll book again definitely. โ
โ(Solo traveler) visited cambridge for business trip. You can never go wrong with ibis. It has the essentials. Not overwhelming not underwhelming. Good cafe and shops nearby. Great location. โ
