Staff is very welcoming; we got a snack upon check-in. We went with the dinner option by the riverside as it was hyped up by youtubers, but we found that the price is not worth the price tag. We paid around $260 for 2 people for dinner. The food could be a lot better to justify the price tag. The room is a bit old. Other than those two points, the environment is nice and room is very clean and comfortable.

貸切露天風呂4つもありました。とても良かったです。 個室内の風呂も天然温泉でびっくり。 部屋がとても綺麗です。畳が新品並みです。 素泊まりでしたので、途中のMAXVALUEから食事入手しました。 離れていますので、車が無いと厳しいですね。 国道414号線からの入り口が分かりにくいです。

あたたかい宿

古い部屋の方を利用したが、清潔に管理されていた。 受付は非常に感じが良く親切。 貸切風呂は雰囲気は良いが、お湯の温度がぬるくて残念だった。 素泊まりプランだったが、ビールを頼んだらおにぎりを付けてくれてとても良かった。

Great Japanese Onsen Hotel

Wonderful hotel with great Japanese Style Hot Springs. BreakFast was wonderful with great river side view. Only cons is that the building itself is a bit old. Overall service was wonderful.

조용하고 깨끗한 곳이었습니다. 식사도 몹시 훌륭했고 바로 옆에 계곡 물소리가 들리는 것도 좋았습니다. 네개의 프라이빗 탕이 있는 것이 가장 좋았습니다.

せせらぎの音が最高！

川に面した部屋は、せせらぎの音が心地よく、今ではこの立地では建設できないらしい貴重な旅館。 期待したとおりとても心地よかった。再度、宿泊したい。食事が朝、夕ともイマイチ物足りない。 現地への案内標識が少なく、分かりにくい。

I was on my way back to Tokyo from Osaka and decided to stay a night to just relax before going back to the bustle of the city. I had an incredible stay at this Ryokan. It is located right beside a river so your view of the river and nature is stunning. The rooms are absolutely huge. Each room has a very large door way and the sleeping area is very large as well (it can accommodate six people comfortably if need be). The bath room is well equipped with modern amenities and a large tub if you wish to take a relaxing hot bath in your room. You are given traditional attire to wear throughout your stay (yukuta and tabi). The food was too pretty to eat and absolutely delicious. Tradtional Japanese food is included for breakfast and dinner. Lastly the hot springs are lovely. They have lots of options for private baths but the common bath area is just as lovely and very large. I highly recommend that anyone spend a relaxing night here, two nights to really make it worth your while.

Don't miss the dinner alongside the river

Wonderful stay highlighted by outside private onsen and spectacular dinner by the river. Excellent service, had a superb time.

This hotel is a very nice Ryokan (japanese traditional style hole). The dinner at the riverside is very interesting and the food was satisfactory both qualitatively and quantitatively.

建物自体は古いですが手入れが行き届き大変リラックスできました、温泉も料理も満足です。近くの「浄蓮の滝」を見てきましたが家内が初めてっだたので喜んでいました。小生は約３５年ほど前に見学ずみ 前日に伊東　大川温泉に宿泊しましたが「たつた」のほうが良かったです。

Wonderful ryokan to dine by the river.

Did not get to enjoy their private onsen facilities during my stay but the loss was partly made up by the nicely prepared meals during dinner and breakfast. Traditional Japanese Dinner by the river on a cool winter evening was a superbly wonderful experience. Those who do not drive may find it a challenge getting there though.

처음 이용하는 료칸이었는데, 아주 좋았습니다. 다음에도 이용을 꼭 하고 싶네요. 타쓰타료칸이 버스정류장에서 조금 떨어져있지만 사전에 이야기하면 픽업서비스도 이용 가능할 듯 하네요. 저희는 료칸에서 버스정류장까지 drop off 해주었습니다.

The best part was the private onsen tubs. There were 4 different ones and we could use all of them without waiting at all. Make sure to lock the door firmly though. One time somebody opened the door when we thought it was locked. Unless the latch goes down all the way, it could be open.

まあそれなりに楽しめた

そこそこ古い建物なので、真冬の滞在では部屋以外の廊下などは極寒だった。 貸切風呂が４つも有り、とても良いのだが早いもん勝ちで時間制限も特にない為、誰がいつ入ったか分からない中で、出てくるのを外で待つという形態を取っている。予約表と1時間半とか時間制限があると予定も立てやすい気がした。もちろん大浴場もあるのでお風呂はいつでも入れますが。 夕食は、なかなかの具材と品目なのだが冷えてるものが多く少し残念。量は充分でお腹いっぱいになった。 この宿には川床が有るが、冬場は宿の予約時に予約が必要。当日に利用できるか聞いてみたが限定五組で満席と言われた。見学は自由と言われたので、食事時刻前に見に行ったが、コタツはあ？ものの寒すぎでここでご飯は無理だな…という感想だった。 宿のスタッフさんにレジャーについて聞いたところ、ここから浄蓮の滝までの遊歩道があるとのこと。ただし去年の台風で、遊歩道にかかる橋が２つ倒壊して通れないと言われた。取り敢えず行ってみたのだが、確かに橋は倒壊していた。ただその日だけかもしれないが、我々はなんとか浅瀬や岩を飛びながら渡る事が出来た。浄蓮の滝まで約1時間のトレッキングを楽しんだ。
