"The room I was assigned was in a poor state of repair. Specific issues included:
- The curtain rod had fallen down, requiring me to fix it myself.
- The room lacked the private shower that was advertised and indicated in the reservation details.
Furthermore, my room was changed by the host prior to my arrival without my request. I was only informed of this change via a phone call.

"The staff at the front desk was very helpful, even though they were extremely busy due to the holidays. The place was decorated beautifully. The food at the bar was great and the drinks were superb. Loved the vibe felt like old school NY. "
"This is a lovely boutique hotel. The staff were very courteous and the room was immaculate. The restaurant downstairs is very convenient, serving good food from breakfast to dinner, and offering room service as well."
"The elevators were horrible! Half of them didn’t work. Other than that it was great. A little noisy in the room from outside noise and not great insulation from the window. "

"It was our 2nd stay here. Clean, comfy and quiet rooms once more. Refrigerator, microwave and safe are a big win too. Subway station is opposite the hotel. Had a minor leak in the shower which was repaired within 5 minutes of notifying reception. The reception team was great with check-in, check-out and other needs. Will return again. "
"The greatest hotel in New York City, with the greatest staff! This is THE HOTEL! Don’t miss it when you visit NYC. Thank you all for making an incredible anniversary celebration trip for my husband and me.
