This small riverside town offers peaceful fishing along the Susquehanna and hiking trails in nearby Bald Eagle State Forest. Catch a local baseball game at the Jersey Shore Stadium or explore the historic downtown with its charming family-owned shops.
Gene at the front desk was great. Very personable and helpful. The other front desk people were okay, but not as good as Gene. The ladies could learn from him.
The only complaint I have is there was no coffee in the room; 24/7 coffee in the lobby, but couldn't make coffee in my pjs.

I was very happy with my room and with the hotel. I was only in town for a little over 12 hours but the room was incredibly comfy and the staff were very friendly.

Pros:
Clean Room. Great stay and hotel staff and folks staying there are very pet friendly. Frankie our golden retriever pup had a good time and all of the staff adored her. She was one tired pup after the trip. One of the cleanest pet friendly hotels I’ve stayed at. Pet fee was minimal compared to other places. NOTE: The Fairfield Marriott in town is NOT pet friendly (and I have status with Marriott).
Appeared newly renovated. Will definitely book again later this fall

The Holiday Inn Express in Williamsport was an excellent choice as a last minute booking. I had only a short time to book a room for a last minute business meeting and I hit the jackpot with this one! I stayed in a room that was very close to the elevator so I was a bit leery about the noise level. Fortunately, there was a long hall way (about 20ft) from the door to the bed, which was perfect - no noise & no light leaking under the room door from exterior hall. The bed was very comfortable...

Room was clean and tub for two in room was perfect! Pool and gym were used and both were clean and well stocked with towel. The tester aunt downstairs has great salads and breakfasts.

I had a great stay at this hotel everything was fine except the cleanliness, the toilet was dirty and it had splashes of poop, it was definitely not clean and the ice tray was dirty the coffee maker was also dirty but other than that everything else was great, the comfort was awesome and the location too. No stinky smell and shower was good and hot water too. I do recommend this hotel just the cleanliness needs to be updated.

Hotel itself was great. Biggest complaint...we had one choice to eat so we had to eat there because it was the only place that was open. Never would have been our choice.

Don't be an idiot and stay in a cookie cutter hotel when in Williamsport. This is the coolest place to stay. You will feel like you are in the 19th century. Brooke is your Maitre de Hotel and makes you feel right at home.
