“The hotel is very nice. They are undergoing renovation so it was a bit noisy. But mainly, the hotel is on such a busy street and while the noise stopped by 10 p.m. it started up at a little after 5 a.m. There was no way to sleep after that. The room was nice - very large and the bed super comfy. The bathroom was tiny. ”

“Overall the staff is nice and helpful however, the proterty is a little out of date and could use some renovations. Our original room had some sort of water leaks and we were promtply moved into another room but that room did have a mild mildew smell. ”

“The room was very basic but had all we needed. Overall the experience was excellent due to the ambiance of being in the forest, experiencing the bay, and seeing the spider monkeys. The food was pretty good and staff were nice. I can see where this type of stay might not be for everyone but we are very glad we worked Puerto Barilla into our itinerary.”
