Excellent hotel. Excellent staff, who went out of their way to help. Hotel & rooms were modern & clean. Pool & surrounding area was excellent, which was good because beach very crowded. My only criticism would be I felt the egg station was exceptionally slow at breakfast, however my girlfriend disagrees so I’ll leave it for you to decide! We will definitely stay here next time we’re in Joao Pessoa.

We were visiting Brazil from the US for my son and daughter-in-laws wedding. Our entire family and many friends stayed at the Oceana resort. The Oceana exceeded our expectations! The rooms were elegant and the location was superb. The staff was absolutely amazing. We do not speak Portuguese, but that didn't stop the staff from going above and beyond to help us every step of the way. The location is beautiful. The amenities are abundant. We loved the beautiful buffet breakfast every morning, the drinks and food were flowing and delivered to us by the pool. I kept saying I felt like we were on a beautiful cruise ship. We did not want to leave. Karol was so helpful to us as well. Do not hesitate to book your stay here. We highly recommend the Oceana Atlantico Hotel! We hope to visit again next year! Thank you so much for your hospitality and keep up the great work! Five stars all the way!

Excellent hotel, likely the best hotel in Joao Pessoa. The property is beautifully decorated and designed. The rooms are spacious, clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. The only opportunities for improvement are: more lounge chairs both on the beach and the pool. Faster service in the restaurant. Better lighting in the bathroom/vanity area. I also noticed for a hotel like this to not offer an amenity kit in the bathroom was strange. Overall though, I was very happy and would and will definitely stay here again.

Staff was great! The jacuzzi was not working for several days after we arrived and was by appt only. We were told we couldn’t take the pool towels to the beach. (Apparently this was incorrect and didn’t find out until we were leaving) The room was good. The beach was amazing. The food was excellent. All in all, would stay here again.

This is the second time we stay at this property and unfortunately the experience wasn’t as positive this time. In a clear effort to cut costs, the hotel is no longer heating the outside pool (we asked for it at least 5 times), the temperature of the water in room (shower and sink) was lukewarm, and the jacuzzi wasn’t working either. Instead of disclosing all of these shortcomings on the website or at check-in, the staff simply said that the jacuzzi wasn’t working. If you want to use the sauna, it’s also necessary to request in advance so that they can turn it on and wait until it heats up. You also need to take a class on how to operate the safe box in the room if you wish to use it. I’m yet to see a more cumbersome hotel safe box. The staff listens to the feedback and smiles back, but that’s it. They don’t address the problem right away. I don’t know if it’s because they can’t do anything about management’s decision to cut costs wherever they can, or lack of hospitality training.

Hotel muito bom, nos surpreendeu. Tem um chá da tarde de cortesia aos hóspedes diariamente e aos sábados oferece feijoada de cortesia. Durante nossa estadia em junho de 2024 houve uma animada festa junina e ofereceriam transfer diariamente ao São João de Campina Grande como cortesia. O quarto e o banheiro são bastante confortáveis, ótima limpeza. Funcionários gentis. Únicos pontos negativos: praia mais afastada da parte principal da orla de João Pessoa, onde tem vários quiosques e restaurantes. Lá é mais tranquilo. Um convite ao relaxamento. Outro ponto negativo: praias de João Pessoa em geral no mês de junho são muito agitadas e nessa havia muitas pedras. Mas em relação ao hotel, é ótimo!

Quase Incrível. O hotel pega em pequenos detalhes gerenciais, por exemplo: frequentei a piscina todos os dias durante horas, e fui obrigado a ouvir a mesma playlist mais de uma vez ao dia, todos os dias! Será que o supervisor acha dificil corrigir isso. Outra coisa ruim foi verificar que TV do meu quarto estava com a imagem falhando. Reclamei e prontamente um senhor da manutenção foi até meu quarto para corrigir o problema, Mas, ao ver o que estava acontecendo apenas me disse que era um problema de sinal daquela ala e... ficou por isso mesmo! Pequenos detalhes que são fruto de uma gerência deficitária, entendo eu.

O hotel Oceana oferta o PIOR serviço de café da manhã que já presenciei: não tem buffet, somente opção a la carte, cujos funcionários trazem frutas in natura (uma delas até suja estava), pães adormecidos, sem falar na ausência de talheres (colher de café e sobremesa não tinham) e copos sujos. A única justificativa para tamanha falta de padrão da hotelaria e desrespeito na execução dos serviços, é a economia financeira, pois somente isso "justificaria" a pouquíssima oferta de produtos alimentícios e, tudo contado, mirrado. Precisamos tomar café da manhã em uma panificadora. Até uma choupana ou pousada simples ofertam melhor café da manhã. Lastimável. Quanto às instalações e localização, são ótimos.

O hotel é ótimo, localização, acesso à praia, suíte mto confortável, ampla. Pessoal mto atencioso, café da manhã mto bom. A única contrariedade foi não conseguir tomar um banho quente, a água oscilava de morna a fria . Inclusive na banheira o que tornou o banho desconfortável e a banheira sem sentido.
