Venligt personale-godt værelse med badeværelse, der virkede mht varmt vand og bruser. Maden var okay-var nødt til at spise der pga covid-19 som nærmede sig. De tilbød, vi kunne blive boende, hvis landet blev lukket ned. Det var en dejlig besked, men vi nåede ad omveje frem til Delhi og ud af Indien 8 dage efter udtjekning fra Blue House

Excellent all the way

From the moment we checked in we were made to feel welcome by the family. We were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of private areas on their lovely balconies to relax and admire the views, oh and night eat their home cooked food too.

Blue house

It is a great place to stay. Hosts were extremely helpful and supportive of travelers. The location was good too. Food was cooked in their home kitchen and was Amazing/true to culture. Some amenities in the room were not so good ( fan/shower wasn't working, windows couldn't be opened) Overall, it's value for money.

Very very good stay,one thing to bear in mind is that taxis cannot get into the small and very narrow streets in the area.We got dropped off at the railway station and got a tuc tuc.The restaurant is on the rooftop, lots of stairs.Other than that it is wonderful,great rooms,friendly people who run it and it's been in the family for generations.

Very narrow street,taxis not allowed in old city,need to be in tuc tuc.Many steps to rooftop restaurant,having said that it is fantastic place to stay,family who own it are very helpful and will organise almost anything.Brilliant stay!

Good until the owners had a massive fight. Cars, autos, etc Cant get to the hotel. Passage way to hotel is easily lost.

Ich hatte das Blue-House wegen der tollen Lage und des tollen Ausblicks gebucht. Als ich dort ankam, hieß es, dass ich in ein anderes Hotel der Familie müsste, weil einige Gäste (wegen Krankheit) nicht auschecken konnten. Das Ausweichhotel (UMER) sollte angeblich einen besseren Standard haben, aber tatsächlich war es aus vielerlei Gründen sehr unbefriedigend (laut weil seitlich neben dem Bahnhof gelegen, Betttücher waren nicht sauber, ...). Mal wollte mir dann gratis das Frühstück anbieten, aber das war sowieso in der Buchung inclusive. Schade, da ich mich auf eine schöne rundum-Atmosphäre eingestellt hatte.

少々込み入った立地にあること以外は快適に過ごせた。屋上からはメヘランガール城を一望できるのは良い。ホテルのオーナー家族はしっかり者なので、頼めば大体なんでも手配してくれるはず。言い値は割高なのできちんと交渉すること。

Wonderful

Totally wonderful experience ! Amazing location in the heart of it all ! A traditional Havali with excellent service and very helpful staff . Manish helped us with everything we needed and Neetu in the blue house restaurant rooftop not only served us well but also is a very talented henna artist. I highly recommend this to anyone searching a cool and friendly experience !

Excellent view and location for Jodhpur's old city

Fantastic location for those wanting to discover the old jodhpur city. Well done up rooms with modern bathrooms. Manish the owner and the lady looking after the hotel were very warm and hospitable.Only autos and rickshaws can go into the lanes. Charming place if that is the experience you're looking for.

Vi havde booket tre luksus værelser, men da vi ankom, havde de kun to værelser, hvoraf det ene var meget dårligt, som vi måtte presses sammen på. Først næste aften fik vi et godt værelse, de andre to var meget små. Der var meget lidt service og morgenmaden meget ensidig.

Great location great stay

Checking in process can be a bit long but that’s just government requirement. Rooms were clean and spacious just like on their photos. Internet was a little bit of a pain, never seemed to work in our room but worked everywhere else otherwise. We had breakfast which was really nice, the terrace offered a great view of the fort. The guesthouse offered to change us money they gave a decent rate however Balaji tour behind the clock tower beats everybody in town. Check out was made simple no hidden charges and helped us contact our taxi driver. Overall great stay great location friendly people, tasty food offered, I would stay again and recommend them to anyone. Unless you can’t do the steps give them a go.

Only for real low budget travellers

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience at the Blue Hotel. When we arrived they didn't have our booking or had double-booked us (they didn't tell us which, we were just kept waiting for ages). Either way they eventually checked us in to a cheaper room and then tried to pretend that it was the level we'd booked. It was easy to prove otherwise as plenty of pics online so then they offered to upgrade us to their 'suite' for one night (and then we'd have to move again for our second night). In my opinion this should have been the first course of action, but no matter ... The 'suite' was a windowless room not much larger than the last and though the bathroom and bedroom floor were clean, the bottom bedsheet was not. The pillow cases were torn and a bit grimy, walls unclean, no top sheet was provided to sleep under. If I was backpacking on a tight budget and had my own sleeping sheet bag I might have just sucked it up, (the tiny room we were first given looked cleaner) but as it was we left as soon as we could and found somewhere else for our second night. It was v cheap, but I value cleanliness, and natural light, (not to mention honesty) these days.

Mediocre Hotel and highly overpriced for no reason

Very bad experience. The hotel is extremely overpriced against the rooms and services provided. The owner is highly cunning and he tries to con one with his sweet words so beware. The rooms are mediocre and dirty especially the bathrooms. There was no hot water only a electric heater which provides hot water only for 2-3 minutes. This was a terrible experience since we were traveling in the month of December with extremely cold temperatures. Towels provided were unclean and smelly. Overall the room was highly over expensive at least 2-3 times more than the kind of room provided. On the spot, we saw one similar hotel at rates less than half than this one and in better condition than this. I had paid online prior to check in thus decided to continue. At the time of check out owner tried to take 500 INR more from us saying taxes are not included whereas Expedia booking clearly said they were included. I had to waste my 20 minutes to make him understand the thing which was clearly written on Expedia booking print out. I could have missed my train if he would have continued to argue. Please beware of all the charges that you are supposed to pay else owner is kinda over-smart in that case. Not recommended. You can get better and cheaper options than this one for sure.

Excellent stay

Great place to stay. All staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. Once renovations are complete, it'll be even better. Unbelievable views around you with such rich history. We were very pleased. Attracts lots of creative souls.
