DO NOT STAY! I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE. For US$300 per night this property does not even meet 1 Star.
All Inclusive - you cannot even get a bottle of water in your room or for you room. The staff directs you to a supermarket nearby or at best you can grab a glass at the coffee shop.
Bathroom - this could not be for an adult as it is absolutely tiny, untidy, had the smell of urine which means it was not well cleaned for our arrival, concrete amenities, the bed takes up the entire room, the floor was sticky and a bit gross. Bathroom cupboard was
Food - below par for any hotel.
The room was clean but no chairs in the king bedroom. No WiFi service for our entire stay in the room. We had to hang out continuously in the lobby so as not to miss any outside calls. TV was also not clear, had lots of static
I will NEVER book or recommend this property. I checked in the property and hours last the resort lost power. I checked out the next morning as the power had gone out again in the middle of the night and was still out. They kept saying it was being worked on but I wasn’t chancing it. The food was horrible, plus with no power how was the food being kept. I requested a refund which I was promised but couldn’t be handled because the system was down because of the power outage. The resort is in need of an immediate renovation overhaul. The staff was friendly and the managers were emphatic to our concerns, but this was not how I was going to spend my vacation.
The beach is excellent and the staff is welcoming, helpful and courteous. I appreciate all which was done by Mr. Brown, Paulette, Karla, Kiara just to mention a few of the exceptional staff members I interacted with. The food and drinks were of good quality. With that being said, upper management and investors has failed these employees making it extremely difficult for those employees by having one of the worst hotels on the island. The rooms are horrible (wall furniture like the Flintstone ages) old tiles and old mini refrigerators. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in resent times. This hotel needs to be closed and completely renovated. The internet system is very poor, at no point in my stay was I able to watch any of the World Cup matches in my room or the game room at the hotel. Very frustrating for a soccer fan. My family and I love the people, love the beach but will never stay at this hotel again unless it is destroyed and rebuilt or totally renovated.
I had to leave immeasurably after check in. I’m requested a refund. Awaiting decision. The was no pullout cot. 3 grown men (2 adults and a 16yr old male 165 lbs could not live there for 7,days . Rebooked thru Expedia . Only 1 key for the group, small room not same as the pictures. And room phone not working. I had to leave.

Loved the beach. Pools were nice! Room was clean and the whole resort. They are a little outdated with the property. However food was amazing and staff was super friendly.
The hotel seems to be stuck in the past and desperately needs an upgrade. The bathroom was rusty, old, and outdated, while the food was delicious but limited in options. The pool was clean, and the staff was fantastic. However, I had an issue with my room, and Mr. Terrence handled the situation very quickly. To improve the overall experience, the hotel should offer more activities and update every room. Additionally, they should welcome staff at the entrance.
Jolly beach was a beautiful stay. The staff at the resort is so nice, the rooms were clean and had a wonderful patio view.
Pros - its the best beach on the island! The food is great and the drinks are great. The pools and atmosphere are so nice, you really do not need to leave the resort.
Cons - its not the most modern stay (which my family did not mind at all), if this is what youre looking for.
I would recommend and would definitely come back!
The jolly harbor, was a excellent choice, just what I need beautiful resort with a beautiful beach, staff was superb they went out and beyond to make feel to your needs, the bartender at poolside was very polite with her smile, my night bartender at night was very helpful when ask questions about islands got a little history than you Remel , thank you to bellboy pleasant young man… thank you staff for make my birthday week memorable. I will surely recommend
Honestly, I wish we never booked here. However, it was last minute and we heard it was a good place to stay, that mustve been a looong time ago. FIRST, we paid for ALL INCLUSIVE and it felt like it didn't include anything. The room they gave us was not what we saw on the website. Fridge was empty. No room service (had to ask for towels and washcloths) Room was never cleaned, Bathroom door was broken. There were time slots for breakfast (7:30am-10am), lunch (12pm-4), and dinner (6:30pm-10pm). THIS SHOULD BE MADE KNOWN ON THE WEBSITE. God forbid if you were a DIABETIC. Not to mention the food they provided was trash. Pizza tasted like BUTTER! No Goat, No Oxtails, No Stew or Curry Chicken, No Yams, Not EVEN Fried Chicken.... Like are you kidding me??? Same thing for the bars. The drinks were trash; it's like they only knew rum punch and didn't even do good with that. All I tasted was the bitters. UGH!!! Then they had the Coco Grill which was cool and almost the most appreciated because at least they had Jerk and BBQ Chicken, Burgers, Fries and Salads... But don't ask for 2 of something (it's like having to beg) why do I have to explain why I want 2 of anything?? I'm hungry, are you saving it for someone else?? And of course, if you flip out, you're the aggressor/problem. Dinner is done by 10pm and bar is done by 11pm and if you wake up in the middle of the night and need some water, there is NONE, unless you drinking out of the bathroom faucet... UNBELIEVABLE!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
The property was well maintained with beautiful flowers and grounds. The beach is beautiful great for swimming and an abundance of beach furniture. There are yellow flags to guide you but I did not see a lifeguard.
The rooms are clean with basic amenities but a bit dated still using keys and safety box uses a removable lock.
The staff in the restaurants were polite and friendly. Food in general was very good.
If you are staying for a week you do not get housekeeping services however you can request fresh linen and towels. There is a cost for housekeeping services if you want service while staying seven days or less.
I found the desk staff to be professional on check in but lacked a welcoming demeanor. I would suggest a cool drink while waiting to be checked in.
My stay was uneventful and I enjoyed my stay and would like to compliment all the restaurant staff.
Beautiful beach but worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Bedroom like a prison cell.
Rude and unhelpful reception staff.
Overworked bar and restaurant staff, long queues for drinks and food.
No water or power for 12 hours.
Unhelpful manager.
We couldn’t get out quickly enough. We checked out before 6:00am to get a decent breakfast at a different hotel. No power when we checked out.
Do not recommend.

The beach is the best part! Drinks were good and food as well. Property outdated and some of my friends had issues with their AC. Another couple had an issue with their shower but they came to fix it quickly. Thankfully, we didn't have any issues with our room and I appreciated the hot water shower. Overall, loved this affordable yet piece of paradise that I want to return yearly!

The pictures do not match what I had arrived to. The staff were very disinterested and seem bothered by our presence. There were a few nice and pleasant staff members but very few and far between. The gym was grossly inadequate. The rooms were periously small and very little storage space or capacity. The all inclusive experience was "really" what I had imagined or previously experience. You needed reservations and many times the reservations were full and so that meant you had to wait or dine late like 9:00 or 10:00pm in some cases. I was told that I couldn't have my room cleaned b/c I selected 4 day visit and not 7. Just my two cents and I hope someone reads this and takes this quite seriously as Im not really one to post negative reviews.

I arrived as part of a group of about 25 persons. The check-in process was chaotic and it seems that the Front Desk did not adequately resourced itself to efficiently deal with new arrivals. There is really no excuse for this, since they would have had prior notice of arrivals.
The property is a dated and it was evident that they working to maintain and improve the looks. My room was the standard one. I loved the location just north of the Front Desk. However, the AC was leaking, there was a leak under the sink, possibly one of the flex hoses.
The BEST part of the stay was the FOOD. Absolutely outstanding food at all three meals. Great variety of choice, well prepared stuff and sufficient in quantity and quality. Given that Antigua is the home of black pineapple, the servings were substandard but mangoes more than compensated for that lack.
One MAJOR missing dessert was Ice Cream!! Imagine no ice cream. The property needs an Ice Cream dispensing machine so it can be available 24/7.
The beach was outstanding. The sand and sea were world class.
Greatest risk of staying at the hotel: You will gain a kilogram or two.
This property is extremely dated had terribly maintained. The customer service was shocking with much of the staff surprisingly hostile to guests and just not interested. The attitudes were simply unacceptable for any industry never mind the hospitality industry. The staff need better support and training in hospitality. The location of this ancient hotel with its beach accessible was one of only two positives (the beach is a public beach hence accessible to all called jolly beach - so can be accessed even if not guests). The other positive was the long bar in which Jay and Patrick provided exceptional service. Even they however could not make up for the rest. The gym was dated with old equipment including two non-functional treadmills. In fact dangerous as the one that works suddenly stops causing incidents as you’d crash into the control panel if jogging. Reported it but staff didn’t care and made dismissive comments. The gym has no water nor towels. Wi-Fi was patchy in the resort (none in the gym). Yet they are happy to charge resort fees for the provision of services that don’t work. Rooms are small and full of issues with something or another not working. Very noisy staff shouting and carrying on as if guests don’t matter - this affected rest periods too. Sadly can’t recommend this report for anyone trying to enjoy Antigua.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The property I could see maintenance being required in most areas. People: some were very friendly as to be expected but most and I would say approximately 75 percent had a flat affect. Maybe it's an Antigua thing I'm not sure.
The beach in and of itself was amazing. However being approached by the locals while on the beach they were trying to do business there to hustle a dollor. Most of these people were fine. However Comments made to me by one of the locals were terrible and these comments were directed towards me about my granddaughter. Another family while I was there had similar comments and approaches made. Terrible. I had to get security involved however security told me the beach is public property. That was not good
I would never go back.
Basically the main problem is the staff who work there, there are few persons who are different, but the most of them are really kindless, overall the lady who was in my check-in, really angry, without given importance about my questions over resort facilities.
The infraestructure of the resort look likes without proper management, but at least the beach was amazing and beautiful.
