the grounds of the property are really, truly lovely; we brought our dog, and there was lots of space for him to explore and roam around and enjoy, in addition to great patio and lovely views. the staff is just lovely, and very helpful; really, they couldn’t be nicer, honestly, as is so wonderfully typical of great service in Switzerland. the physical plant is good, if not great, and overall the hotel has surely seen better days, while the room renovations are a bit “hip,” such as no real closet or storage space but, instead, Ikea, open-storage-installations.

Incredible view, clean but very warm room

Amazing views from the room window and the terrace. The room was nice and clean. It was just extremely hot in the room because of the warm summer days and no air-con. Nevertheless the view was incredible.

This hotel provides free ticket to use train and buses!! We did not know that until AFTER. My boyfriend and I walked in the morning before check-in to ask about parking and the gentleman working there did not tell us about the vouchers. We could have saved so much money! The woman working at the front desk named Reem Patwan provided incredible customer service, thank you again. Beautiful view of the lake. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Parking was free and plentiful. The woman working at the bar with short white hair was extremely rude, she yelled at us for bringing outside food in front of many people who were sitting out at the terrace. So customer service is hit or miss at this place. Other than that, not bad for the price and location is good.

prachtig zicht, maar...

prachtig zicht; tip vraag specifiek om de gerenoveerde kamers. Ze probeerden me eerst een oude te geven, maar de nieuwe zijn zelfde kamertype. Mis wel wat sfeer in het hotel en de suggestie in restaurant was niet zo bijzonder, wel erg goed dessert. let ook op; er is een hoogspanningslijn erg dichtbij het hotel. Wel goed is de busverbinding naar het centrum
