O hotel é incrivel, lindo. Só achei caro para o que oferece. O defeito é que mesmo estando numa época de frio dentro do quarto estava muito quente. Existe ar condicionado mas nessa época do ano desligam, assim passamos a noite em claro morrendo de calor. Reclamei, solicitei que ligasse o ar mas não teve jeito, mandaram abrir a janela e portas… isso não faz jus ao valor pago e ao nível do hotel. Hotel maravilhoso, mas n voltaria porque não sei dormir no calor.

Yes, a bit pricey but worth it for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This was our first trip to Uruguay and we wanted to experience the Estancia. How lovely to be greeted by our first names and Bauti, who co-manages the Estancia with his girlfriend Sophie, asked about my husband, who was unable to come at the last moment. This kind of personal thoughtfulness was evident throughout our stay. The grounds are exquisite; the rooms amazing. Each has a different theme. We had an excellent dinner, took advantage of the pool and the complimentary horse back riding and soaked up the unique ambiance.

L'estancia vik domine la laguna josé ignacio, vue magnifique toute la journée et coucher de soleil splendide, calme absolu, lieu parfait pour se ressourcer. Le personnel est discret, chaleureux et très souriant. La température de la piscine est parfaite, la salle commune est fabuleuse avec son plafond peint, les 2 cheminées, les sculptures et autres œuvres d'art et éléments décoratifs et le billard. Le pdj continental est très bon avec que des produits frais et de qualité (lait d'amande, produits sans gluten, salade de fruits rouges...). Les cartes du déjeuner et du dîner sont limitées mais en se régale quand même. Gros avantage de séjourner dans cette estancia, les ballades d'1h environ à cheval sur la propriété sont gratuites. Seul bémol si on veut aller à la plage il faut une voiture et rouler pendant 15 minutes pour rejoindre Playa vik ou Bahia vik.

Beautiful hotel with spectacular staff

What a wonderdul stay. Relaxed, beautiful, well-thought out hotel. Every room is an art installation, and every staff member attentive, professional and charming. Beautiful views of a stunning countryside from every window. We had our anniversary dinner there, and the staff set up a beautiful private table in the charming little wine cellar, wich was a very thoughtful gesture. The two acticviyies we tried were the kayaking and horseriding- both through breathtaking scenery. We also had access to the facilities at their two oceanside properties, which were just as lovely.

Estancia Vik is glorious!

Estancia Vik was glorious. The staff members were all helpful, friendly and professional. The building and natural surroundings were gorgeous. We enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking, riding bikes into town, and the wonderful food at the estancia.
