"We enjoyed our night we stayed there. Can’t say to much about the surrounding, because we really just stayed pretty much in the room and relaxed, since we were exhausted from a week long road trip and were on our way home"

"Really dig the layout of these rooms (and the property). Instead of a closet, there are under-bench cubbies, and a sort of pegboard with some pegs to hang hangars/clothing on. Makes sense — everything visible, harder to forget something when it’s time to go. Spacious room, comfy bed, great multi-port power outlets in several locations. Air conditioning was great. Really appreciated the blackout shade that you can lower behind the curtains. Decent medium-sized mini fridge (no freezer, but front desk helped us out by letting us freeze our ice packs in their freezer). Good counter space in the “kitchen” area. Our section of the property had the pool and a bocce court(!), the section near the lobby has a patio lounge with a little firepit (gas-burning). The little cafe has some good stuff (food and drink). We only tried the avocado toast and tater tots -- good and reasonable prices! The gear shop is rather cool, as well. Close to Yucca Valley, 15 min to JTree. Great spot! The ideal hotel for hikers/campers."

"The motel is decent, the room was nice and clean but it had a smell of a chemical cleaner. We haven't interacted with staff except for the front desk receptionist who was OK. The A/C unit was pretty loud and we had to turn it off for the sake of some sleep. Bathroom shower was super small and narrow making it almost impossible to use it if you are not a small framed person. Bonus was a cute kitchen with all necessities, so I give it a 4."

"Absolutely loved our bungalow stay. The suite is very large and comfortable with a living room and kitchen. There was also outdoor seating. They provided coffee and creamer which was delicious. Fluffy towels and comfortable bed were perfect. Very close to the west entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park - which was the reason for our stay. Note that there is no TV but you can stream on your own device - wifi worked great for us. It is also quite a walk to the pool area. We did walk the grounds, which are huge. Lots of interesting spiritual things to see and experience. Definitely a retreat hub. Our only wish is that they have a better grounds map. The one behind the door was blurry and difficult to read."

"I had to travel to Palm Springs for family reasons but everything was sky high bc of a music festival. I found this hotel in JT which was a bit of a drive, but a peaceful one and I enjoyed it there. It's an older property and it seems to have some original decor which I found charming. It was safe, clean and friendly. Plenty of parking, and a grocery store and eateries across the street where I had a Thai dinner, Excellent!"

"Nice experience to stay at steppe houses (yurt). Basic needs was covered with intersting solutions. If you want to see a wonderful night sky full of stars and very quiet place, this resort is one of the best choices which we made here in US. But firstly, learn about this place and be ready to stay with true nature."
