“Sehr schönes Apartment direkt am Fjord. Bisschen deko würde nicht schaden, macht aber Nix. Aktuell sind auch Renovierungen am Gange (zb Eingang wird verschönert mit Holz) Es wäre gut gewesen wenn die Infos aktuell sind bzgl. Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants, wir hatten Gottseidank Plan B. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 15 min entfernt. Der vor Ort macht schon um 18 Uhr zu”

“This is an absolutely stunning B&B down to every detail. The owners and staff were helpful and it’s a perfect location if you want to take the ferry to the Urnes Stave Church(the oldest of the remaining Stave churches) which is beautiful and well worth the trip. Breakfast was great too. The downsides are: 1) sharing bathrooms; 2) tiny rooms; and 3) no close restaurants for dinner so eat first in the neighboring town.”

“The view of the valley is stunning. The rooms are utilitarian and very clean. The breakfast is truly excellent and by comparison, the dinner was terrible and expensive. We rented the sauna and it was wonderful! There are 2 roads that lead to the Videseter and on arrival, Google Maps took us through a one lane, mountain road that was closed at the top! Would have been nice if the hotel had mentioned not to take the closed road. A quick message after we booked would have prevented a lot of stress....

“Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too.”

“약간 연식이 있는 호텔이지만 너무 낡은 느낌은 아니었고 체트인-아웃 모두 키오스크 이용해서 빠르게 진행 가능하고, 조식이 매우 훌륭합니다. 그리고 호텔이 피오르드 바로 앞에 위치하고 있어서 방의 위치에 따라서는 매우 멋진 전망을 즐길 수 있습니다. 게이랑에르나 로엔쪽에서 베르겐으로 이동하시는 분들께 추천드립니다.”

“Clean cabin however the WiFi did not work in the cabin. You have to purchase both the bed sheets and the towels in a bundle and cannot purchase just one. This was not clearly written in the description. Also you had to buy a token to take a 5 min shower which I was not aware of based on the description. ”

“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”
