Everything you need for a stay, there was fresh milk, juice, bread,butter., jam in the fridge ready for breakfast. Toaster and microwave in the room too. Plus tea and coffee ”
“Had a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city. ”

Only a 5-10 minute walk to get to the main attractions and lots of food options. “This is a hotel with real character. Built as a civic building in 1905, the hotel owner totally renovated the guest rooms but retained the beautiful interiors along the corridors, in the restaurant, etc. In the guest rooms, there is a rarity -- lots of electrical outlets! Also, as this building was built solid, guest rooms are quiet -- you hear nothing from the next room. All the staff (check in, restaurant, cleaners) were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again. ”
