Great, comfortable hotel

Great little hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable, and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was of a great standard. The roof terrace was a nice bonus, and the hotel is situated just off the main street and a short walk from the beach. Negatives were that the walls were a bit marked and the carpets were slightly stained, but overall a really nice hotel. Perfect for a relaxed break.

Great!

We had a wonderful visit here. The room was fantastic. Big, new and very fresh. A comfortable bed. The toilet and the shower are separated- very good. The breakfast was perfect. It is about five-ten minutes walk to the beach. If I ever come back to Jurmala I will return to this hotel.

Great location just a minute from Main Street

Great location, just a minute’s walk from the main pedestrianised town centre, and also easily walkable to the beach and other sights. We booked a room with terrace (which was large) and sauna (which was great!). Reception staff were always helpful. On-site self-parking is payable but cannot be reserved in advance, but wasn’t busy (we travelled midweek in late May) so it was easy to park. Buffet breakfast included lots of choices, so easy to feed most people.

Great location for exploring Jūrmala on foot

Very convenient location for exploring Jūrmala on foot- just 1 minute from the main pedestrian street, and maybe 10 minutes to the beach. We booked a room with balcony and sauna, which was perfect - good size, balcony was huge, and the sauna was ideal for 1 or 2 people. Staff spoke English and were always really helpful. Parking cannot be reserved in advance, but we were told that there isn’t usually parking available mid-week, and it was easy to park when we arrived. Breakfast was buffet-style, and there was a good selection to choose from.

Staff and breakfast were excellent. The room was not as good: really dirty carpet, leaky shower with very unpleasant smell, window handle falling off. Many inconveniences: was hard to charge a phone or to find a place to hang or dry things. Generally, it feels like nobody is maintaining the property. Even knife in the buffet was dull.

Hotelli oli mukavaa ja sen sijainti on lähes keskustassa, yöpyminen sujui hyvin, aamupala oli kattavaa. Saamani huone oli upea (jossa oli myös sauna) ja sillä oli hyvät varusteet, paitsi huoneen sänky ei tuntunut mukavalta ja oli kovantuntuinen yhdellä patjalla. Eli sänky ei vastannut 4-5 tähden sänkyyn. Toinen asia, mitä haluaisin kiinnittää huomioon on se, etten saanut kuin yksi avainkortti huonetta varten ja toista en saanut kuulemma "teknisestä syystä". Kolmas asia on se, että vastaanotolla oleva vastaanottovirkailija (reseptionisti) ei tuntunut osaavansa työtään. Tuntui siltä, että hän tarvitsi itselleensä enemmän apua kuin me asiakkaana. Muuten voisin kyllä yöpyä siellä hotellissa uudestaan :-)
