Great location on the esplanade. Beautiful bathroom! Good selection for breakfast. Hotel is jus a few years old so everything is new and seems to be well-maintained.

The staff here from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I couldnt be happier or speak more highly on every aspect of our stay. Our fourth stay, Athina in the lounge and the young men working breakfast changed our minds about the food and beverage staff which previously had been unorganized and the low point of our last stays...now, everyone provided the service you would expect from a 5 star! Our stay in The Grand Hotel Kalamata was perfect. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and shown the hotel's car park nearby. Our room was very spacious and had a separate sitting area as well as 2 bathrooms (No. 210). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms had a full range of amenities. All the rooms were spotless and decorated to a high quality. The public areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated and there were lots of seating options for meals. There was a wide range at breakfast and it was plentiful. We also ate dinner on one occasion in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were very high quality and delicious. The staff were superb. They always greeted us with a smile and were friendly, helpful and efficient. We highly recommend The Grand Hotel Kalamata and plan to stay here again next time we are in Greece.

A Very Elegant Hotel!

The Grand Hotel Kalamata is a gorgeous hotel which provides outstanding service. The breakfast served outside the hotel was wonderful. It included a variety of options and all were delicious. The off-street parking was a real perk in this area where street parking is difficult to find.

Grand is definitely Grand

Grand is Grand in all aspects Perfect location to get up and go to local beaches or other beaches within the area The hotel itself is excellent We had the suite facing the harbour Clean well sized room. Bathroom well sized, water pressure a bit on the low size Breakfast fantastic and the service was superb Also had dinner there one night outdoors across the street the food was excellent , same staff from breakfast and they were still working hard with a smile. Excellent lobby area if you simply want to sit Ample parking and if their lot is full simply give them the keys as they will double park in their lot and move cars around. Overall o would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic hotel with extremely helpful and professional staff. The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to help us get our delayed suitcase. The food was great and so was the service. The hotel room was extremely clean and comfortable.
