"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. "We didn't stay. From the owner asking us how much we paid to dodging a clothesline of underwear it was terrible. We had one look at the dirty room and the unsafe accommodation and left. Do not stay here. We stayed at the flora bay resort. Cheaper, cleaner and much nicer."
