“차밭에 둘러싸여 있어 정말 좋았습니다. 특히 일몰이 정말 장관이 었습니다. 시내와 좀 떨어져 있긴하지만 크게 불편한 점은 없었습니다.”

“The Scottish Planter is situated in the middle of tea plantations, which give an amazing landscape. The service is excellent, always here to help. The rooms are quiet spacious and very clean.”

“my parents advised it was very clean, new just like the photos. the staff was warm and welcoming. they mentioned the food was great too.. would recommend to families looking for clean reasonably priced overnight accomodation.”

“We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”

“Chiran our butler was so attentive to our every need, he made our stay at Oatlands so special. The property itself needs an upgrade, it is showing signs of wear and tear. Nearby St Andrews hotel is lovely to have a drink and dinner.”

“Clean and quiet. Good food. ”

The owner agreed to give us free dinner and breakfast. The next day they gave us the bill for both, plus asked us to pay for the new room threatening to call the police (but I had already paid...

“What a wonderful little home-stay! If you're after somewhere quiet, yet still close to the centre of Nuwara Eliya, this spot it perfect. No frills, just a comfortable room at an affordable price. Only a short walk to food options (Royal Wok does an excellent biryani). It might be a little hard to find, but message Saman (e.g. via WhatsApp) and they'll collect you from wherever you need - even as far as Colombo airport! Andrew's Lodge is a great option for anyone looking to break up the trip...

“I booked this cottage due to its high rating in Expedia. However, my experience was not as good as other same price range hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka. There was about 20 flies welcoming us that took hours to get rid of them. The facility it self is not bad but needs more effort in maintaining the facility and welcoming the guest. The breakfast was the same for two days and there was no excitement. Taste was not good as well. Since the cottage is maintaining the high rate, management might...
