We absolutely love how affordable and family friendly Basswood Resort is. They have fun activities everyday for all ages, among there many fishing ponds, swimming pool, playgrounds, dog park, nature trails and so on. We will be making yearly trips here😀

Spacious rooms and friendly staff, very attentive to our needs. Especially enjoyed the pickle ball courts and disc golf; No luck with fishing though:/ Sofa sleeper not comfortable but worked well just to put the mattress on the floor. Needs new bags for cornhole and shuffleboard stick. Pizza and wings really tasty! Shower didn’t work but we took baths and I’m sure they‘ll fix it before the next person. Nice sitting area and charcoal grill on the patio. Lots of kids activities, but still quiet by our room

**BRING BLANKETS AND TOWELS*** Our stay was wonderful, relaxing and quiet, however we were traveling and booked off Expedia, blankets and towels is something we assumed we included. Wasn't a deal breaker, we enjoyed our cabin and the facilities, we traveled about 20 minutes to a Walmart and grabbed some. Just figured anyone looking ahead would need to know this info!

My family and I always have a wonderful time when we stay at Basswood Resort. The staff are all so helpful and kind. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the cabin being covered in ants inside and on the back porch. But that won't stop us from coming back, though. I'll just make sure to bring ant spray next time!

We are so excited for the summer season!! We love coming to basswoods! We came thursday and left today sadly! We had so much fun we love swimming, riding the golf carts, and love coming to the activities!! Cant wait to come back and enjoy the wonderful environment super super family friendly and the staff is awesome makes you feel just like apart of the family! Will definitely for years to come!!

There’s something for everyone! The weekend themes keep families engaged and they have activities for all ages. I love that this campground offers several options for people who don’t own a camper/tent. The cabin option is amazing. We will be back!!

Decent.

The cabin had damaged flooring and the floor, especially in the bathroom, was dirty. Otherwise, cleanliness was good. The shower in the cabin is tiny so easier to use the showers in the bathhouse, which is a nice bathhouse. No yard or view with the cabin which was disappointing. Cabins and RV lots are very close together so little privacy as it's densely packed. The resort did seem like a good place for families with children. Service was very friendly. Location was good for our needs.
