“Beautiful view, outdoors well maintained. Great communication from host). Beds are quite hard, furniture could use an update, and a few minor amenities would be a bonus (dish washing towels, washing machine tabs, utensils). Interior was clean, just outdated. Kids loved the cats, and I have been asked to rename: Calico = Filepé (loves cuddles) Older Calico = Shortie Gray Tabby = Nina & Lina (bigger) Tabby with white = Georgie Skiddish dark cat = Shadow Overall great time and would recommend.”

“Aucune indication sur l'hôtel, ni sur la route ni sur le bâtiment. Difficile à trouver. Nous ne semblions pas attendus alors que nous étions les seuls clients. On nous a remis des draps et couvertures pour faire le lit nous-mêmes. Dommage car le gérant et sa fille (?) adolescente ont été très agréables.”

“Booked for 10 days, good price. Apartment was nice & bedding, towels changed every day. Great view from balcony. 10mins walk to nearest beach. Be mindful to get to the apartments you have to walk up a very steep hill or 100-170 steps depending on which route you take & if you are on the top apartments it’s another 60 steps! Will keep you fit though if you don’t mind that!”

“New Aegli is my favorite place to stay on Poros island. It is a quick 1 hour trip on the ferry from Athens. In September, the Askeli beach is perfect for swimming—the water is warm, and I usually do a 1500 meter swim every day that I’m at New Aegli. The restaurant food is great — I always sign up for daily breakfast. Great food selection, delicious. And I generally have dinner there too!”

“Clean room, staff was great, they have a café upstairs, really nice terrace on the second floor and the third floor with beautiful views. And you can have drinks up there and just lounge out. I would recommend bringing mosquito or bug spray when walking around outside. ( noticed that a lot around the island). AC in the room blows cold! Great value and great stay overall.”

“The location of the hotel is superb. Walking to the town center and shops and restaurants was easy. The room was very clean and the view phenomenal. Grounds were very nice. The breakfast had a good variety and there was ample parking at all times.”

“Near to the beach. Good air-conditioning. Small balcony. Kettle. Fridge. Huge bed. Shower small. Plastic curtain had to be carefully manovered yo keep water in. 2 square feet too move to shower. Toilet squashed in behind the huge boat sink. Owners absolutely adorable. We had "garden view ". An overgrown patch of ground. But at least it was quiet. Would stay in the sister hotel in the future the Plaza hotel. Very near ferry terminal. Great restaurant opposite hotel. Had better...
