"Needed more maintenance but the location is great "

"There are two towers and they are drastically different. Hoku which we stayed in is in need of an update. Coming off the elevator to the floor the distinct smell of mildew from the hallway carpet was apparent. Our room was dated. It’s not awful which is why I would imagine is priced how it is. You definitely want to ask for the Kai tower. It’s much newer and updated. This being said the amenities and location are very good. Two beautiful pools that our daughter had a blast in. One huge whirlpool with 2 smaller ones. The restaurant on the grounds, Kīhei Cafe, is excellent. Staff was very nice at check in."

"Cleaning service was slow"

"Staying at this property was overall a dream. . My only thoughts are suggestions, the pool has no shaded areas either with umbrellas or palm trees, and it was hot. They take exceptional care of cleaning the pool and the deck. My only single complaint was no AC in the living area or 2nd bedroom. While, they supply us with fans the intense afternoon sun was brutal."

"We really enjoyed staying here. All staff were friendly and the pools were clean and fresh towels were available all the time. We had a red eye flight back home and the hotel allowed us to stay on property until needed. We were provided access to showers and to dry our clothes in the guest lounge room. "

"Clean room, had beach equipment in the room, beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, etc. Only single use laundry detergent was provided — had to buy more. Filters for Brita pitcher was there but no pitcher. Room had skylight windows which let in all sorts of noise. One day our neighbors had a birthday party that lasted until midnight. I had to call the office to get them to send security to have them stop since quiet hours was 10pm. But the ceiling windows let sound in everyday (birds, pool, neighbors, etc)"
