Gros problème d’insonorisation de la chambre, on entendait les voisins parler. Difficile également de se faire comprendre en anglais avec plusieurs personnes de l’établissement.

Overall Claro Kendari cukup bagus. Agak aneh ketika check in diminta menyimpan deposit 300 rb padahal di dalam kamar tidak terdapat Minibar. Katanya deposit utk kunci. Aneh kunci Magnetic masih harus dikembalikan

Tough to Beat for Value

All was great, should be listed a a 5 Star Hotel. Unbelievable breakfast buffet. Free limited shuttle to and from the airport (25 kms away) My only complaint is occasional noise in the corridor and from other rooms---not a big problem, but an odd annoyance.

This is a wonderful hotel ! Lovely rooms, charming pool, nightly music, superb buffet breakfast. The only small issue is the noise can on occasion penetrate the wall. The staff was marvellous.

Grand Clarion Hotel Jewel of Kendari

This was by far the best hotel I've stayed in in Southeast Asia during the 5 months I've traveled here this year and priced about the same as the other hotels in the area. The room was large, the king size bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom 5 star. The rooms have central air instead of the wall unit which makes them the most comfortable I've been in. The free breakfast buffet was incredible and I've paid more for that caliber of brunch in the US then the whole room cost. I also ate dinner there and that was delicious, a large portion and reasonably priced. There is a nice big beautiful pool surrounded by an open courtyard with bar and restaurant. The lobby is huge and beautiful! The staff at every point was friendly and helpful. The largest most popular nightclub is located as part of the hotel, but was closed because of a religious holiday the 2 nights I was there. The local area is okay, probably as good as it gets in Kendari.
