"The room was spotless and smelled clean when we walked in. It was such a pleasant room, if you can say that about a hotel room! Bright bathroom with the BEST shower and water pressure I have ever felt! My only complaint was that for a room designed for 2-4 people, there wasn't a small table with chairs. Eating in the room was challenging, as no one wanted to eat on the beds. A tiny table and at least a second chair would have been nice."

"We recently stayed at Sonesta Waukegan overnight on our way from Wisconsin. It was a great overnight stay just north of Chicago. The room was very spacious and set up perfectly with a workspace, nice couch, small dining table, complete kitchen and a decent sized bathroom. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had the best pancakes I’ve had at a hotel! They had an outdoor pool but we didn’t have time to use. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again when in the area."
