"Undoubtedly the most magical place we’ve ever stayed, words and pictures just can’t do The Little Cottage in the Woods justice. Every corner of the cottage and gardens reveal more delightful touches! We were sorry to have to leave so soon and wish we could have stayed longer. Even gypsy, the resident German Shepherd, provided a warm welcome to both the kids and dogs! Lynne and Jeff were the perfect hosts - friendly and helpful without being imposing. "Not fit for human habitatation. Full of black mold. Some attempted to be wiped away, but thick patches in several rooms. Couldn't stay here with young children. After an hour of ringing around, no other rooms in FW, had to drive 4 hours home, arriving at 1.30am with young children.
Host communication poor, sent me to wrong place, neighbours all complaining about this host when I asked directions. Not the important part, but clearly characteristic. Zero response to complaint from host.

"Booked this for my daughter and 2 grand children, last minute as her tent was broken by the adverse weather they was experiencing. They loved the property, they said it was very clean and well equipped and they loved the view of the mountains. Property is very close to a train station but my daughter said they didnt hear any noise from it."
