“The property location was great for our daily safari. The staff are welcoming and made my shy kid feel right at home. The kids enjoyed the impromptu elephant visit at lunch time and visits from Zebra’s at breakfast. I would definitely recommend the place for a family visit. ”

“We had an amazing stay at Bakubung! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Our flight from Cape Town was delayed by several hours so we arrived at the lodge close to 10pm. “Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. Rooms comfortable and spacious as were communal areas. Nice pool.”

“Das Ziel war Pilanesberg und Safari mit den eigenen Auto! Dafür gibt es keinen besseren Startpunkt, da der Eingang zum Gate nur 3 Min entfernt ist! Mitte Januar ist keine Saison und wir konnten, bei sehr netten Service unser Menü direkt aus der Karte wählen. Absolut Top 👍 Und deswegen viel zu viel gegessen 😂! “Game rangers Neil and newly appointed Carel were fantastic. They are so passionate about their jobs and so knowledgeable. We had wonderful game drives with fabulous sightings of 4 of the Big Five. The leopard alluded us despite Neil and Carel's best efforts. Only small criticism is that lighting in the lounge of the Executive Suite was poor. It was impossible to read or play cards in the evening. The room needs better lighting. A fantastic stay though. Highly recommended. ”

“Mbazo lodge is truly a special place. You are looked after like a king. True six star service. The food and drink was incredible. The chef so talented. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The drives were amazing and the guides so knowledgeable. Thirty elephants came and drank from the pool while I was eating lunch my first day. A wonderful place. ”
