Very bad internet connection, first time in my life to see a hotel room without hotel. There is almost no room view as you have a tree in-front of your balcony blocks everything.

When I checked in, I was sent to general room - a finally got the room I paid for. Also, everything is great (but noisy) except the restaurant has terrible service- 1 hour to get food and hard to get staff to get/pay bill

Lovely retreat in Kigali
Lovely stay wirh the most kind and friendly staff. Will return here on my next vist to Kigal. I felt very spoiled.

This was my third time there; but my worst. There was a foul smell from the room and some smell of dust. Breakfast was beyond par. I have had better days. When I asked to be considered for an upgrade on VIP status and also just being third visit, the email was ignored.

This is a lovely green garden space in the middle of a bustling neighbourhood. Staff are great, super helpful and friendly, room v. clean and comfortable, great little balcony.

The location is great, centrally located and within walking distance to many restaurants, Questions Coffee, and the craft market. The only drawback is it’s rather loud at night with street noise. But other than that they are great.

My stay was very brief but the staff at Hotel Chez Lando were so wonderfully helpful and friendly. As my flight was first postponed and then canceled, they showed real flexibility and made sure I was comfortable and taken care of.

This is my usual hangout in Kigali, for some reason I rest better in Chez Lando then any other place. Also clise to airport witha a good shuttle service. I keep going back there.

It is always a comfort place to stay at Chez Lando. you feel like home and have a nice terrace and a front garden. Kitchen is very good also, and people are helpful.

I know this property since long time. I like it, is calm, with very friendly personnel and I have no reasons to complain. Pobably something could be a little better is the wi fi, but overall I feel very satisfied.

good mid range option
A good option for a mid range hotel in Kigali. Breakfast is of a high quality with a good range of western and non western options. There is no problem with service. The airport shuttle was efficient and they allowed me to check in early. Might be a challenge in the summer with No ac.

Nice grounds. Listen to the birds in the morning. Room is roomy. Bed is very comfortable. No a/c, but it was not a big deal. Kilgali is pretty high and the weather was very mild. Only problem is it backs up to a very busy street. A bit of traffic noise. It’s on the road to the gorilla lodges, so it’s very convenient. I think some of the more up scale locals stay there, and visitors on their way to see gorillas Toward downtown are some of the bigger, nicer hotels, like Marriott etc. a bit more money, maybe worth it? I personally like to visit with the locals, they were all very polite and interesting.
