Many staff members spoke a good level of English, which added warmth and enjoyment to our stay. "Nice new hotel 3* , three years old, modern design , very clean and Japanese minimalist. Onsen on building Breakfast was ok but nothing special Room was new well kept, with kimono in room. Lot of izakaya nearby Price was excellent considering its 50km from Hagi ceramic city. "

"the staff is very nice; but the hotel is kind of out dated, the wall in the room is fixed but didn't apply paint on it; but at least it is clean; all the rooms are located on 2nd floor and the hotel don't have elevator and we have to carry our luggages up and down; really hope they will renovate in the near future"

"We greatly enjoyed staying here. Everything was excellent: the room, the food, the staff, the onsen. Staff were particularly helpful, providing information about visiting potters and taking care of sending our luggage. Hagi was a lovely city with much to see and do. And the sakura were in full bloom everywhere!"

"The property was located in the heart of the town. There were lots of grocery and dining options within walking distance. The beach was a short drive away too. We were able to drive to many scenic places like Akiyoshido Cave and the quasi national park from there. The house was spacious and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet other than during the elementary school’s break time when little children could be heard playing. The house was also well stocked, though I wish there could’ve been soup/ rice bowls, a kitchen scissors and a rice cooker. I was also slightly confused by the check in procedure but thankfully the Rakuten team responded soon enough to help us with it. Overall, it was a very pleasant 1 week stay and we enjoyed the place very much. "
