The property is beautifully situated on the edge of a large forested area and the views were spectacular. The property was in excellent shape, as described and we had an excellent stay! Be prepared for bit of a drive from town but well worth it - we would stay here again!

Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Mangerton. The host was very accommodating and helpful. They had a last minute cancellation and we we were so excited to secure the booking. The Chalet was beautiful and immaculate. The property is nestled in an ideal location and the surrounding landscape is absolutely breathtaking. We would not hesitate booking with these fine folks again and highly recommend anyone looking for a wonderful experience book your stay at Mangerton today! -The Jenkins Family

Hidden gem of a place

Fantastic hidden gem of a place. Michael the owner came to meet us and was really friendly. The chalet is in such a beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Such a great way to unwind in really beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be back.

Situation exceptionnelle à la lisière d'une réserve naturelle qui nous a gratifié de rencontres avec des animaux sauvages pas effrayés par notre présence. Calme et tranquillité dans une maison superbement équipée. Un propriétaire (Michael) adorable qui avait même préparé le feu ouvert.

Great place to stay - beautiful location

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Located in a really beautiful area, stunning scenery, very peaceful and quiet. Also very conveniently located to Killarney should you need to go in. The chalet is in immaculate condition, spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for your stay. We spent five nights there and enjoyed every moment of it. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks for a great few days away.

Location was fabulous. So peaceful

We had a fab time, so much wildlife around and close enough to drive to local shops if needed. We visited Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Muckross Abbey, Kinsale. We hope to go back in the near future.

Große Wohnung am Rand des Nationalparks

Eine schlaglochbewährte Straße voller Schafe führt zu einem entlegenen Chalet am Berghang. Sehr üppige Platzverhältnisse und eine schöne Aufteilung sind ideal für zwei Gäste oder mehr. Waschmaschine & Trockner, Geschirrspüler, Grill und Kamin: Die Ausstattung ließ nicht zu wünschen übrig. In puncto Sauberkeit gibt es Steigerungspotenzial und dank der Lage darf man mit einigen achtbeinigen Mitbewohnern rechnen ;) Die sympathische Abgeschiedenheit jenseits des Killarney-Trubels macht dieses Chalet zu einem echten Geheimtipp.

Great place to leave it all behind!

The house is a bit hard to find - but well worth the hunt. The drive to and from the house is beautiful. At night, you can see every star. The house is modernized with a great shower, dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, etc....but step outside and you are stepping back in time and you walk the mountains above the lakes. We were met by the owner the first night but did not see them after that - we stayed 5 nights. Absolutely would recommend this place and would go back again and again.

Sehr schönes Chalet inmitten der Natur. Ideal für Wanderer, da verschiedene Routen direkt in der Nähe. Bis zur nächsten größeren Stadt nicht weit, aber Leihwagen erforderlich. Netter Gastgeber der sich um alles direkt kümmert.
