“We had a wonderful stay at the George. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar is charming and welcoming. We were in a room in the First House which was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the bath in the room added to the charm. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of cooked options. Would definitely stay again. ”

However, I stayed in a single room and the en suite was the smallest I have ever seen - definitely only suited for small to medium people! I will not hesitate to stay there again.”

“Whisky vaults has a great bar with live music, if we hadn’t been staying we would have missed a really good night. Room was clean with a comfy bed although the bathroom was very compact with very little room to manoeuvre. We had booked room only but were given a breakfast bag at check-in which was an unexpected surprise.”

“Sehr schönes Hotel, optisch top. Zimmer zwar klein, aber auch superschön. Leider ziemlich hellhörig und Restaurant/Essbereich sehr klein. Es war aber alles super organisiert und das Essen an sich war wirklich sehr gut, wir haben dort gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Das Personal war am ersten Abend irgendwie komisch drauf, als hätten sie Stress miteinander. Dadurch wirkten sie irgendwie unfreundlich. Am Morgen waren aber alle sehr freundlich und nett.”
