“Totally enjoy the hot tub with stunning views, so relaxing. The bar area is amazing relaxing for a drink and good bar food for a chilled evening. Staff are super welcome and attentive for the service. Fabulous breakfast with amazing sunrise view. Would definitely stay again.”

“This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”

“We had a lovely room with a large bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. The town lost power but we still had hot water which was awesome as it allowed us to have hot showers in the morning. They also made arrangements for a complimentary hot breakfast our second morning when the power was back on. Holly was excellent and enabled us to check in even without the power. “Hands down my favorite hotel during my trip. On the day of my check-in, I made dinner reservations and unfortunately I ran into car trouble so I was going to miss dinner hours by 20 minutes. Immediately when I got to check in, they offered to make me a plate even though the kitchen was closed. 10/10 hotel! I’ll be visiting again”
