"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

"WeL asked with the value for money for the apartment which could comfortably sleep six people with two good size bedrooms upstairs, a good size, bathroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen was a good size and had everything you needed and was well stocked with plates cups and glasses and you could quite easily stay there for a longer period of time and just a weekend . "We’d like to thank the owners for an excellent stay at The Bell Inn. We were made very welcome on arrival and promptly shown to our room which was spotlessly clean and had home comforts. A comfy bed with wardrobe, bed side tables and lamps, mirror, hairdryer a desk, tv and charging point for phones etc., and modern clean en suite with lovely clean towels. There was also a kettle with a choice of teas, coffee etc., and fresh milk in the fridge. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant in the evening, service and presentation of food being excellent. The following morning there was a good choice for breakfast, we chose cooked breakfast, toast and tea. Overall, we would highly recommend this to others, we only stayed one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. "
