โThis is such a great place to ski/snowboard. The hotel is great and has a lot of space, theirs a lot to do in the hotel also besides being outside in the snow. The onsen and massage is great also and add the breakfast and dinner to your stay, you wonโt regret it! Itโs very peaceful and relaxing and we enjoy coming here. Canโt wait to come back!โ
โThis property was the ice cream to our trip- the property was beautifully built, maintained and allows for the best possible mountain view from the base. The service was beyond attentive and the room was like out of a magazine. If youโve got the money- splurge and do it! Watching the first snow fall from the panoramic windows was one of the highlights of our trip! โ
โThe hotel is very near to the slope for the resort, less 2 mins of walking.
Dry room is located in the basement level
Restaurant is good for both breakfast and dinner with reasonable price.
Supermarket is just right across the street
The only down side is it can be a little bit noisy during the late night on the main street. โ
โFirst time staying at Granjam. Absolutely delightful. Room is clean, spacious and hotel staff are all thoughtful. Be sure to check out their daily dinner set menu...best japanese meals we have ever had!โ
โThis hotel is amazing on all counts, legendary breakfast beyond wildest dreams and expectations, a cornucopia of delights. I will return and recommend to anyone and especially my friends and familyโ
โAll the staff members were friendly and thoughtful. They always smiled and gave us a lot of information.
Their Japanese breakfast was good.
They kept our baggage before check-in and after check-out, so we could enjoy ski all the days.
There are free ski lockers.
In 5th floor, there a onsen(hot spring) bath. It has a outside bathtub.
They took us(including ski) to the bus terminal by their car.

"The Lotte Arai is the best hotel for skiing and onsen. Super soft endless powder snow on the gorgeous mountain hills and the slopes were adventurous and super exciting. The expert++ slopes can be another surplus if you are expert level. The onsen is luxury level. Sitting in the hotel water with snow falling on your head, especially at Lotte's well groomed onsen is unforgettable.
The food at the hotel is not luxury level and limited as the location is all on its own with the city being 20-30 mins drive away from the site. One snowy evening when the Japanese, steak house, and Thai restaurant was full we drove out in the heavy snow to a slightly city area and found a local restaurant reccomending their stove rice pot, it became my top 3 best restaurant in Japan. I would reccomend driving out for food there was also a great Yakiniku not far away too."
