Kingfisher, Oklahoma hotel rooms at the Independent

"I was a bit worried when I learned my room was very near the lobby but it was very quiet and nothing woke me. The orientation of the door and the vertical assist rod outside it is a little awkward, at least in my room, but it was not a big deal. I had one other little quibble but it's now two nights later and I've been up all night for work so I forget what it was but it was minor. Good neighborhood, polite staff, clean room, I would stay there again."

"I normally do not like to stay in motels when I travel alone but I can say that my room was clean, the water was hot and it was quiet like the other reviews said. It is a very convenient spot to grab food and do shopping, kinda hidden in plain sight. Service was very good and I enjoyed my stay."

"Friendly staff,clean and convenient facility. Easily accessible from interstate yet quiet. Numerous fast food options within a quarter mile with restaurants within about 2 miles away. Decent free breakfast. Great value. While it’s been renovated some features are dated - analog TV, swipe card access rather than proximity cards etc. Would definitely stay again."
