“The Globe Inn is a classic, old english pub. It is welcoming, as are the owner and the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and have everything that you would need for a stay. It is also conveniently located for access to the coast, and local attractions such as Burgh Island and Salcombe.”

“Stayed in room number two with garden access it was perfect.Breakfast was great with very good choices.Parking was available for all guests.”

“Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.”

“The hotel’s setting is unique being on an island and arriving on the sea tractor is an experience. Whether it is really worth the expense is debatable but it certainly is very enjoyable.”
