Really enjoyed staying here for a couple of nights . Conveniently located for a stay while visiting the beautiful gorillas of the nearby Volcanoes N.P. The staff was super nice, the tent was cozy and was surrounded by the gorgeous peaks of the 5 volcanoes. Food was good and the property dog friendly and cute. Couldn't ask for more.

We were lucky enough to stay in Volcanoes Over View during our gorilla trekking visit. We were kindly met by Oliver and his team, and he made the experience 10/10, going above and beyond to make our visit as comfortable as possible. We were kindly upgraded to the tents. He was able to source gaiters and gloves for our treks at short notice. He provided delicious spicy tea in the evening and was patient enough to teach us the game of Igosoro. Anyone thinking of doing the Gorilla Trekking or wanting to visit this beautiful part of Rwanda - definitely put this accomodation front of mind.

We had a wonderful stay at Volcanoes Over View Safaris and Camp. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. Although Google Maps initially led us to an impassable road, the local community was kind enough to guide us safely to the camp, which we truly appreciated. Once we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious, the showers were hot, and the staff made sure every request was met promptly. We were visiting the area for gorilla trekking and, despite planning our trip months in advance, we had not arranged transportation from the camp to the trekking headquarters or starting point. Michael quickly stepped in and organized everything for us at a very reasonable cost. Our driver was also fantastic—fun, engaging, and added to the overall experience. We highly recommend Volcanoes Over View Safaris and Camp and would gladly stay there again.
