“Great welcome by Alison , super room with a view to die for ! Lounge area by the log burner was perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Evening dining was available which was fabulous and very high quality. Breakfast was also excellent made all the more special looking out to the view of the Loch . Thank you for a super stay , we will be back ! ”

“The location was great for seeing the castle and the old town. The decor is tired and could use a little attention. The breakfast was okay. They could use an additional coffee machine as the wait for a cup of coffee was quite long.”

“It is little difficult to discover the hotel that is not very different from other houses in the village, Stirling. As a traveller, however, it is the good example to know the structure of typical houses which is located at Scotland Suburb Village. The room has wonderful interior and soft bed. The breakfast is wonderful, especially Traditional Scotland Morning Set. ”

“This was our favourite stay during our road trip around west Scotland The staff were incredibly polite and kind natured The food was amazing ( large portions ) The decor is quirky and charming We stayed in what I could better describe as an apartment more so than a room- stone floors and lovely and clean The staff recommended a walk for us with the kids and it was perfect, alongside the loch, to beaches with incredible views Very nice place indeed ”

“Great hotel, though it was a bit disconcerting to find it was part of the hospital complex. I had a lovely room, with a large walk in shower, and great views over the River Clyde. The breakfast food was great. I ate at the restaurant one evening, and had lovely, fresh fish and chips. Unfortunately, I was not very hungry the next night, and wanted to order one of the advertised “small dishes”. But in that case I had to order two - that was the minimum order. So I asked to order a sandwich, but...
