"Impressed with the quality of the buffet food. A lot of variety. Espresso machine was part of the breakfast buffet. Bathroom was impressive, large area and open, but covered with a roof. We loved it. No mosquitos seen, so a relief. Very happy with every aspect of service. Large, glass, water bottles in the room for drinking. Great location for the safari, very short drive away. Saw an elephant outside the room in the evening. Recommend the hotel and visit again on another visit. "

"Agreed by the whole family to be the best hotel and stay of our Sri Lanka & Singapore trip (overall we stayed at 11 different hotels of varying quality). Can't really rave enough about this place. I wouldn't really call it a hotel - more like a luxury, boutique accommodation. Exceptional in every way. Pros - Service - exceptional, Upul is the only one who we knew by name but everyone was wonderful - Pool - the hotel was full but there were rarely more than 4-5 people at the pool and even then it felt like you had it yourself - Close to Yala National Park - kicking ourselves we did one safari here and one from another (further) hotel as it was so close to the park it would have been much easier travel wise - Organised a safari for us from the hotel and packed snacks and cold water which was very thoughtful (we paid the driver directly and it was well priced) - Yummy cocktails and good food - Great value for money and even more so considering some of the other places we stayed - Nice large, clean, modern, and comfy rooms with a great view of the fields - The little extras make it extra special - they had archery, basketball and a mini golf course - Serene and peaceful, R&R achieved - Like an oasis and with beautiful, natural surroundings - Space - just felt personal and like we had the place almost to ourselves Cons I can't really think of anything. You won't be disappointed booking a stay here. "

"Yala Safari Camping is such an incredible & unique experience. The tents are so nice, the staff is beyond incredible. I stayed as a solo female traveler back in December and I felt so safe and taken care of. They help coordinate two safaris for me during my stay. The wifi wasn’t working while I was there so they gave me a hotspot to borrow while I was staying so I could keep up with work calls and emails. "

"Exceptional experience. The hotel itself was stunning, the staff incredible and the food and drinks fantastic. Very children friendly but also a lively happy hour and bar. The quality of the hotel finishings were top tier. Highly recommend. The safari was great too - and with the hotel location the long line at 6am to get into the national park is avoided!"

"Wonderful hotel in a great location close to lake and ocean. We stayed in a jungle chalet which was spacious and well equipped. Staff constantly patrolling the area so very safe. We booked full board and all the meals were delicious and great variety. Danushka served us at dinner and breakfast and was charming and very attentive. "
