“Friendly staff good breakfast and comfortable bed”

“It’s what you expect from a holiday inn. Food is average. Generally clean. Staff were nice. Shower pressure was fairly poor. ”

“The stay overall was quite good but it was a disappointing experience. After booking we where informed that work was taking place and we may be subjected to noise. I made contact to explain this was to be a special break for my Wife's 60th Birthday and they should have warned us about possible disruption before booking. A reply was sent apologising for this, but told us to make contact with reception where steps could be made to make up for this. Upon check-in reception knew nothing about this...

“Simple, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. A bit worn in places (furniture, ceiling), bed a little sagging, kettle a bit grotty, and water pressure inconsistent, but all in all fine. Close to numerous supermarkets and walking trails and next to the worthwhile Dock Museum. ”

“Overall the stay was fine, nothing alarming. Hotel looked really nice as we entered. However, the quality and standard of rooms were below expectations of a high reviewed/ star hotel. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across.
